"Cashel Byron's profession" manuscript and review, 1929.

Documents the development of Mrs. O'Connor's review of Shaw's manuscript for his novel, Cashel Byron's profession. It includes Mrs. O'Connor's handwritten pencilled draft; two drafts of the note included at the end of the review, annotated by Wilfred Partington; an edited proof with revisions and a lengthy note by Shaw; and a published copy of the Bookman's journal (third series; vol. XVII, no. 9, 1929) which contains the final review (pages 14-16). Black half leather binding with cloth boards and gold leaf.
